Black Friday is just a week away and Deadline reports on a new sci-fi horror film that turns the corporate “holiday” into a nightmare of cosmic proportions.

In exciting first casting news, Bruce Campbell (Evil Dead series, “Ash vs. Evil Dead”) and Devon Sawa (Final Destination, Idle Hands, The Fanatic) will star together in Black Friday alongside Spawn‘s Michael Jai White.

“Set on the busiest shopping night of the year, Black Friday, the story follows a group of disgruntled toy store employees who have to defend themselves from legions of holiday shoppers when a mysterious alien parasite sends them on a murderous rampage.”

Directed by Casey Tebo, the cast also features Ivana Baqureo, Ryan Lee, and Stephen Peck. Andy Greskoviak wrote the script.

Black Friday shoots November 16 in Boston.

Bruce Campbell's Ash Williams character from the Evil Dead series is a horror icon, and Funko just delivered a new and improved Pop figure based on his appearance in the 1992 film Army of Darkness. The movie was the third installment in the Evil Dead franchise from Sam Raimi, and the one that most people probably identify Ash Williams with.

The new Ash Funko Pop comes complete with his signature metal gauntlet, blue shirt and cape, Necronomicon, and boomstick. The detail is great on this figure - right down to the cuts on his face.
