‘Evil Dead’ Sequel ‘Evil Dead Rise’ Coming to HBO Max With Sam Raimi, Bruce Campbell Executive Producing









Forty years after the release of “Evil Dead,” the supernatural horror trilogy created by Sam Raimi is rising from the ashes. A new installment, titled “Evil Dead Rise,” is in the works at New Line Cinema.

Unlike its predecessors, “Evil Dead Rise” is set for release on streamers: HBO Max in the U.S., on Canal Plus in the U.K. and Metropolitan in France.

New Line has made it official that a sequel to the The Evil Dead is in the works for WarnerMedia streaming service HBO Max. The film, Evil Dead Rise, will be directed and written by Irish filmmaker Lee Cronin and star Alyssa Sutherland and Lily Sullivan.

Bruce Campbell Guest Stars on Shudder’s “The Last Drive-In With Joe Bob Briggs” This Friday Night!










Shudder‘s hit series “The Last Drive-In With Joe Bob Briggs” is back with a brand new episode this week, and Joe Bob will be joined by Bruce Campbell and Bill Lustig (Maniac)!

The episode premieres on Friday, May 21st, and as always, we won’t know the two movies being shown during the double feature event until the show begins at 9pm EST.

Joe Bob has, however, provided us with some clues this week. “The first movie stars two drive-in heartthrobs. The second continues a partnership made in drive-in heaven.”

Groovy! Bruce Campbell coming to CNY drive-in for ‘The Evil Dead’ movie screening










Bruce Campbell is coming to Central New York this summer to celebrate the 40th anniversary of “The Evil Dead.”

The “groovy” horror film star is bringing his “Keep Your Distance Tour” to the Fingerlakes Drive-In in Aurelius, near Auburn and about 30 miles outside of Syracuse, on Friday, July 9. Gates open for the event at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are on sale now through Prices range from $45 to $150; limited VIP/Meet & Greet packages will be available.
